The TELESCOPE
is a research level, 16" diameter f/10 Schmidt Cassegrain. The mount is motor driven with a searchable GOTO computer system, including a library of 200 million objects.
Mounted on top of the primary instrument is a 4" refractor outfitted with a white light and a hydrogen alpha filters for solar veiwing.
The system software is Voyager III, SKY PILOT, driven from a Mac iBook.
The equatorial pier was installed in early April 2002.
